20th Anniversary Woodstick event was held on November 5, 2023 at Clover Park High School, in Lakewood, Washington! The event was open to drummers of ALL AGES.
There were DRUM CLINICS for conducted by celebrated professional musician drummers including, Gregg Bissonette, Tony Coleman, Seattle’s Steve Smith, Jeff Mills, Conrad Real and Emily Gould and more!
Our Guest Band was the Northwest's own Spike and the Impalers!
To participate, drummers brought their own drum kits (with rugs ), and registered the day of event. The $20 participant donation included entrance to all the clinics, drumming in the performance with the band and a chance at winning prizes! In addition, one participant who raised the most funds* for the selected charity received a limited-edition Tama Snare Drum. The program culminates with all drummers playing along with the well-known Seattle-based band Spike and the Impalers, led by Pacific Northwest radio personality Spike O’Neill.
*Doors opened for Drummer participants to register and setup at 10:00 am. DRUMMERS REGISTERED DAY OF THE EVENT
*Drum Clinics started at Noon.
*Spectators were welcome to attend the program and drum concert that began at 3:00pm, entrance donation was $5.
As in the past, the proceeds from Woodstick support a worthy charity. This year the net proceeds raised supported The Coffee Oasis Youth Programs that offers housing and job resources, crisis services, activities, and development programs to youth. https://thecoffeeoasis.com/
